On November 30, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the “List of Industrial Product Green Design Demonstration Enterprises (Second Batch)”. After enterprise self-assessment, provincial-level industry and information management department (or central enterprise) recommendation, expert review, online publicity and other procedures, from electronic appliances, textiles, machinery, automobiles and accessories, chemical, light industry, building materials, metallurgical industries 67 enterprises were selected as the second batch of industrial product green design demonstration enterprises.   (egg boiler)

    A total of 6 companies in the electronics industry were shortlisted, including 4 home appliance companies from Zhuhai Gree Electric Co., Ltd., Changhong Meiling Co., Ltd., Hisense Video Technology Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou Boss Electric Co., Ltd.    (egg boiler)

The notice also pointed out that demonstration enterprises should effectively play their leading role, continuously strengthen the ability of green design innovation and development and management, and continue to improve the supply capacity and market influence of green products. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will further strengthen the supervision and management of the list of industrial product green design demonstration enterprises, establish a dynamic management mechanism, review the demonstration enterprises in due course, and remove the units that no longer meet the requirements of the demonstration enterprises.   (egg boiler)
